Unfortunately, this is the end. Our bassist, Jeremy, is moving to Chicago and as a band we have decided to not continue with the name Shambles or the songs that we released as Shambles.

We recorded our debut demo/album/whatever 5 months ago, and since then have been lucky enough to play some of the raddest, most fun shows around Boston. We met a lot of awesome people and had big plans for the band. Unfortunately, sometimes plans change very quickly and things have to end.

Thanks to everyone who listened and came to our shows. We hope we’ll all be making music again really soon.

If you want to come see us, our last two shows are this week in Allston

Wednesday 4/25 at Great Scott with Tower and the Fool (record release show), Born Without Bones, and Zac Clark

Saturday 4/28 with Brunt of It on Rugg Rd.

Any bands want to hop on a show April 6th in Boston?

Shambles and Two Hand Fools are playing a show April 6th at Radio in Somerville, and one of the other bands just dropped off the show. We’re looking for another band that might want to hop on.

Send us an e-mail at shamblesmusic@gmail.com if you are interested or know someone who would be.

Paul Baribeau - If I Knew

Bright Eyes - Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh

Propagandhi - Gifts

this song/band are probably one our biggest influences

I Am The Avalanche - Brooklyn Dodgers

most overlooked song of the last 5 years?

John K Samson - The Boat Dreams From The Hill (Jawbreaker cover)

Ever wondered what it’d sound like if The Weakerthans combined with Jawbreaker? Well…

(one of the greatest things of my life, seeing this happen live)
