Shambles - Yep, 27 and Still Writing Pop-Punk
Come hang on Wednesday 4/25/12. We’re playing a show at Great Scott in Allston. It’ll probably be one of our last shows. Drink beer. Or don’t. Be cool. Or don’t.
Tower and the Fool (album release show)

John K Samson - The Boat Dreams From The Hill (Jawbreaker cover)
Ever wondered what it’d sound like if The Weakerthans combined with Jawbreaker? Well…
(one of the greatest things of my life, seeing this happen live)
Ever wanted to see a video tribute to Guy Fieri with a Smashmouth soundtrack? Well, look no further, friends.
Shambles - Yeah, From The Worcester Days
A shameless plug for our song about breaking edge and other things that have happened to us.
Been spending a lot of time recently thinking about this place we call home. It’s a story that’s been told and re-told a million times before: a love story, a hate story, a complicated mix of appreciation and disdain that can only come from a city you’ve spent most of your life in. There are days when it feels like I’m drowning in the Charles River and days when I can’t imagine even contemplating being somewhere else.
Imagine life without Piebald or Converge. Imagine what the music we play would sound like if SSD and American Nightmare hadn’t shaped us. I probably wouldn’t drink so much without Darkbuster. I’d be a lot prettier if I never broke my nose at a Witches With Dicks show. How fucking bleak would the punk rock landscape be without some of the Boston bands out there today?
I admit, it’s more often than not that I find myself drinking whiskey and mumbling “If I don’t get out of here, I’m not sure I can go on”, and that sentiment is probably true… but it doesn’t change the fact that Boston will always be where my heart lives.
